Lewis and Clark

June 14, 2010

Last weekend brought us into the path of the Lewis and Clark expedition. As the walk leader of the Northern Walk I was quite humbled to look out over the Missouri river and contemplate the difficulties that these great explorers must have faced and when crossing this majestic country of ours. It is difficult for me to even imagine trying to make such a journey without the many technological advantages that I have come to rely on… or for that matter the gift of an accurate map. However, my walk and their expedition does share the most essential advantage, that of devoted participants.
