Crossroads the Adventure 3! Prayer, Sacrifice, and Generosity

June 13, 2012

As we were walking today, we reflected on how lucky we are, as walkers, to have so many people out there praying for us, sacrificing for us, and being so generous to us. As Crossroads walkers, we live to walk, pray, and sacrifice all we have for all the unborn children, so one day they may have the right to live. But it is others’ prayers, sacrifices, and generosity that keep us going on this walk day in and day out. When we get tired out there on the road, we can start to feel the prayers that others offer up to the Father for us.  I am always astounded how helpful and generous people are to us. Every time we are on the road, we see God through others (giving us water bottles or taking us out to breakfast after daily Mass). Today we saw Christ when the owner of the RV Park we are staying at offered to let us stay for free to help our mission.

I want to give a big thank you to the host families who open up their homes to us, complete strangers. Also, people at parishes at our weekend stops, we are so thankful for your generosity to us that keeps our mission going. We, as team, want to thank you all! Every person that waves or smiles at us, every person that donates to the cause, every person who prays for us, every person who helps us on our way to Washington D.C.!  Y’all are the ones that make it possible for us to get out there onto the highways and proclaim the Good News of the Gospel and to change hearts, minds, and souls to the Pro-Life movement.  We thank you so much and want y’all to know that you are there with us as we walk every step of the way, by our sides, along with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Wow, I could not of said it better, Mark. We would certainly not have been able to made this journey without the generosity we received from others!
