Abortion survivor, Brother Pio, of San Damiano Franciscans Third Order Pentitence from Albany, NY. Abortion Survivor.
“Was that from the botched abortion, or was that..”
“It was a saline abortion right?”
“Or where they do it chemically…?”
And then my family came over, and wanted to adopt me.
But there was a problem because of the regime, in order for me to be adopted, we would have to get permission from my birthmother.
WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.
Before I had to be sent off to the asylum…
The Holy Spirit once worked through a man who was on the street and they came up to my mom, my future mother, and said we know where his mother works. I was three at that time. And then they drove in a car with a translator, and my adoptive mom, and this man down an old dirt road.., a muddy road…and lo and behold, we pulled up to a sewing factory. And there we found my birth mother.
She signed the paperwork and said, “He’s…yours…”
I have been involved in the Pro-Life movement for fourteen years, praying and counseling in front of abortion clinics for fourteen years, and been involved in counseling in having twelve women having an abortion. To this day I am still in contact with them and their children. This is the moral of the story, being thankful for your life every day.
I am a brother with the community of San Damiano Franciscans Third Order Pentitence Private Association from Albany, NY, and I am in my Novitiate year, while in temporary vows. Please pray for me. Thank you and God bless.
